O volume que se segue pretende, por um lado, apresentar uma nova tradução do Timeu, e, por outro, disponibilizar a primeira versão do texto do Crítias em português. Pelas razões que exporemos posteriormente (vide infra pp. 13-15), a nossa proposta assenta em considerar ambos os diálogos como um bloco uno tanto
a nível dramático como narrativo
